A businesswoman is facing criminal charges over the closure of Clerys.
She is among a number of execs who are facing court over how the company was wound down.
Deirdre Foley of Hollybank Avenue in Ranelagh, the businesswoman associated with the purchase of Clerys is facing three counts of breaking protection of employment law and one of impeding a Workplace Relations Commission inspector.
Two other execs associated with the 2015 deal as well as the previous owners are also facing charges.
None of the defendants have entered a plea.
When the company was liquidated collective redundancies resulted in the loss of 460 jobs.
