Gardai believe a search in Finglas for the remains of a convicted rapist, who disappeared 6 years ago, will last around 3 weeks.
46 year old James Nolan from Fairlawn Road in Finglas disappeared in November 2010.
He had been released from prison after serving time for burglary and had previously been jailed for rape and false imprisonment.
A dismembered arm was found on a beach in Dollymount Strand in 2011 and was identified as Nolans through DNA testing.
Then on Saturday hoarding was put up at a site in Tolka Valley Park after officers received fresh information that his remains could be there.
The park remains open to the public but the search area is cordoned off.
