The wreckage of the Rescue 116 has been recovered from the sea.
However, dive teams still haven't managed to locate the two missing Dublin crewmen, Ciaran Smith and Paul Ormsby.
Yesterday, search teams raised the wreckage onto the Granuaile vessel and inspected both the aircraft and the seabed. They did manage to recover include the rotor head, the main gear box and one engine.
A Naval Service dive team earlier managed to attach equipment to the wreckage to help the lifting process on what was the 20th day of the large-scale search operation.
Rescue workers last night emphasised that the search would continue for Mr Smith and Mr Ormsby.
Captain Dara Fitzpatrick was recovered in the immediate aftermath of the tragic crash but was later pronounced dead while the body of Mark Duffy was recovered from the helicopter's cockpit on Sunday 26th March.
The Rescue 116 chopper disappeared from the radar in the early hours of Tuesday 14th March.
