A new Dart station is planned for south Dublin.
It's part of government plans to build thousands of homes in the county and across the country in the next 4 years.
The Woodbrook Shanganagh area of the city has been identified as the site for the new station.
It is one of 4 locations that will see upgrades to roads, bridges, and junctions in the future as part of the Rebuilding Ireland scheme launched by the Housing Minister.
Cherrywood, Kilternan, Glenamuck and Clay Farm will also get a cash boost to prepare the Dun Laoghaire, Rathdown area for a growth in population.
It's set to receive €40 million to deliver 5000 homes in the next 4 years and almost 15 thousand in the longterm.
South Dublin is to receive €27 million for 11500 units, Dublin city is to get over €26 million to build 6900 homes, while Fingal will get almost €19 million to construct 4380 houses and apartments.
