A two day garda crackdown on crime gangs in Co. Meath is underway.
The operation is aimed at disrupting burglary gangs based in the area.
These two days of action got underway way at 8 this morning in Ashbourne as part of Operation Thor which tackles burglary gangs.
The aim is for a high visibility by officers to track and disrupt criminals living and travelling through the area.
Gardai will be intelligence gathering, issuing warrants, carrying out searches and making arrests.
Local officers, the Regional Support Unit, the garda helicopter, as well as customs officers, rep from the Taxi Regulator and Private Security Authority are all involved.
It's the 10th such operation in the Leinster region since September which has resulted in dozens of arrests.
