Donald Trump has said he will come to Ireland "soon" after the Taoiseach extended an invite during their meeting earlier.
The pair sat down in the Oval Office for a bilateral meeting ahead of the shamrock ceremony later.
Trump nailed the pronunciation of 'Taoiseach' but wasn't quite as successful at saying Enda Kenny's wife's name Fionnuala:
It comes as the US president's travel ban comes into force.
Enda Kenny says he did raise the issue but we don't know what exactly was said.
Meanwhile the Taoiseach brought up the plight of the undocumented / illegal Irish in the US.
"There are millions out there who want to play their part for America, if you like, who want to make America great."
