Donald Trump has declared March 2017 as 'Irish American Heritage Month' in the US.
His Press Secretary Sean Spicer announced the news on Twitter.

In a statement overnight the President says it's in a bid to celebrate a bright future of friendship.
The Irish-related celebrations in the White House, will culminate with the traditional shamrock ceremony as Trump welcomes Enda Kenny to Washington for St Patrick’s Day.
