Doris has had her day; now it's time for Ewan to step into the spotlight. Met Éireann says the latest storm could bring winds of 120 kilometres per hour as it passes over the country today.
An orange weather warning is in place in the south and south east.
It comes just days after Storm Doris knocked out power for several thousand homes across the country.
Gerry Murphy from Met Eireann said today's storm won't be as strong as Storm Doris. "It's going to be a very windy afternoon, strong southerly winds to start and then switching to west or south west direction and easing this evening".
