The president of Iceland sparked an international debate this week after suggesting he would outlaw pineapple as a pizza topping.
Guðni Thorlacius Jóhannesson had been visiting a secondary school in the north of the country when he was asked about how he felt about the Hawaiian addition.
He said he was "firmly opposed" to the fruit topping and suggested he'd ban it on pizza if he could. It sent twitter into over drive.
Now President Jóhannesson has clarified he's not going after the tropical fruit
"I do not have the power to make laws which forbid people to put pineapples on their pizza. I am glad I do not hold such power."
Well that's that then!
