The High Court has told Apollo House campaigners and rough sleepers they cannot have a one week extension to stay in the Nama-controlled building.
A rally in support of the Home Sweet Home activists has been taking place outside Apollo House. Around 200 people have formed a human chain around the office block and are chanting 'we shall not be moved.'
Some of the residents there today have been packing up and leaving to go to the Peter McVerry Trust but many want to stay.
Activists have been in the High Court since 11.30am looking to extend their occupation of the building.
A ruling before Christmas meant campaigners and residents would legally have to be out of the property by midday.
However the group says that the Housing Minister Simon Coveney has gone back on an agreement to find residents suitable accommodation in other hostels.
Eight people who had left, have come back to Apollo House saying the conditions elsewhere are terrible.
One man said he was put in a five bed dorm with three active heroin users.
