Students To Mark 1916 At Flag Ceremony in Croke Park
Students from secondary schools around the country will take part in a National flag ceremony at Croke Park today.
It's to celebrate the centenary of the 1916 Rising.
Six thousand secondary school students will attend the event which will feature a keynote address from President Michael D Higgins.
The significance of the tricolour, which was designed in 1848, will be the central focus of today's ceremony.
