Unsettled Weather Set To Continue
Met Eireann has issued a yellow rain warning for the whole country. Accumulations of between 25mm and 40mm are expected today. The warning is in place until 10 o'clock tonight.
The unsettled weather is set to continue over the coming days. The forecaster says the rain will clear tonight with lowest temperatures of 6-10 degrees.
Tomorrow will start dry with sunny spells but there could be outbreaks of rain in parts during the afternoon/evening. There'll be top temperatures 14 to 16 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty south to southeasterly winds.
There'll be more rain on Thursday night, and possible heavy, thundery showers on Friday with highest temperatures of 13-16 degrees.
The weather is weekend will be wet and breezy. Met Eireann says current indications suggest Saturday night will be the wettest windiest period.
