Meet the nominees for Best Shop...
Nan's SuperValu, Ballymun
Nan’s Supervalu has long established roots in the Ballymun area. Owner and manager, Robert Murphy grew up in Ballymun and has traded in the area for over 21 years from a small van shop on Balbutcher Lane in the 1989, to a 15,000 sq foot modern supermarket on the Main Street in Ballymun.
Robert and his team have worked very hard to achieve this and pride themselves on customer service, value for money, and being an important part of the Ballymun community.
Robert would like to thank all his customers for their continued support, as some of his customers are shopping with us since 1989.
"We are so delighted to be a finalist we believe we got there by all our loyal customers nominating us."
Siopaella is Ireland's largest re-seller of authenticated luxury handbags and clothing with four locations in Dublin's City Centre. To date, they have recycled over 60,000 items and have recently expanded into home ware and interiors.
Siopaella has four locations in Dublin - three are in Temple Bar and one is located on Wicklow Street next to BTs. They opened 6 years ago in 2011.
"We are so excited to just be nominated to be honest. Being shortlisted is a win for us already! Just being recognised for all our hard work has been incredible and the support we have received from our amazing customers has been so humbling. Customer care has always been at the heart of our business so for them to support us has been wonderful."

"In 2012 we took a concept and introduced it to the Irish Marketplace. Our customers took to this concept in their droves, and for a young and independent Irish Retailer, this is vital!
A nomination alone speaks volumes as to how our customers feel about us. We are overwhelmed by the response and by winning last year. Fingers crossed for 2017!"

"My bakery is in The SPADE Enterprise Center, in Smithfield and I have a market stall on Coppinger Row, beside Powerscourt Townhouse in Dublin 2, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, which has been operating for the past three and a half years.
We are delighted to be a finalist again this year. Dublin has a very strong tradition of market stalls and traders, and for our stall to win best shop would feel like a win for all traders who have to build their shops form scratch every day."
