Will Steven Gerrard take the Rangers job?
From the noises so far, it seems like the former Liverpool captain will accept the job, although that as of yet remains unconfirmed.
The size of the task is huge as he would have seen, watching from after, as Celtic dismantled the blue side of Glasgow 5-0 to clinch the Scottish Premiership title.
Native Glaswegian Pat Nevin was on with us at our Roadshow with BoyleSports at the Back Page pub in Phibsborough and he had his say on the risk standing before Gerrard as he ponders whether to start his managerial career at a club like Rangers who are on uncertain ground.
"I'm actually quite amazed that he's going to take it," said the former Scotland and Chelsea legend.
"If you make a mistake up there, even if you're Stevie G, you go to Rangers and it goes wrong - and by the way, everything's not perfect in the background at that club - they are miles and miles and miles behind Celtic.
"You could have your fledgling career absolutely chopped off. The other night there on Match of the Day, you might have heard it was suggested by Alan Shearer that it's a no brainer [for Gerrard to go to Rangers]. Believe me, it's a brainer! You need to think about this. You seriously need to think about this."
