Over the past few weeks I have seen many many facebook pages set up to save this, and save that and if we get a million fans we’ll get a day off and the usual rubbish like that.

It wasnt until I checked my facebook today that I saw the latest online petition!

Eddie Rockets, we all know it, we all love it. Whether its been a Saturday afternoon in with the kids, or a later Saturday night after the pubs and clubs, everyone has their favourite dish! For me, its the double take. Big juicy burgers (although they seemed to have shrunk a bit these days), I know someone that cant live without the bacon and cheese fries. Or the garlic sauce that is just divine and is worth having it on your fries, even if your partner wont kiss you later on.

The shock news that has come to my attention is that, the club sandwich has been removed from the Rockets menu. Now that is just wrong, wrong, wrong!!!

Apparantly there is a new menu and some items have been removed! Now I could understand, the burger in a bowl going (what the hell were they thinking with that) or even the chicken with gravy!!! (again, mr rocket, ?????) But removing the club sandwich is nothing short of 2 fingers to the general public.

Its bad enough that we have a crap government, bad weather, and all the other problems that this country is facing, but now Eddie Rockets is taking our beloved club sandwich away!!

If this issue is not addressed, I can see protests and riots in the streets. Meanwhile, you can add your voice to the protest:

Since I heard about this petition, I contacted an inside source that I have inside Eddie Rockets management. Understandably, he would not go on the record to tell us the exact details and reason why this has happened, BUT all sandwiches have been replaced with subs. So its now the ‘Club Sub’

A club sub………….If I want a sub, I’d go to subway!!!!

Finally, I hear there is an exciting new menu, and I only say those words because if the Eddie Rockets management would like to sample this exciting new menu, they can forward me some vouchers to me at 98!!
