The 98FM team are celebrating the success of the Care 4 Kids Radiothon. The four day Radiothon has raised over a whopping ½ a million euro for Ireland’s three children’s hospitals; Our Lady’s Hospital for Children, Crumlin; Temple Street University Hospital; and The National Children’s Hospital, Tallaght.
98FM united for the second time with the Children’s Miracle Network and Ireland’s three children’s hospitals for the award winning ‘Care 4 Kids Radiothon’, to raise much needed funds for sick children.
Listeners made donations by calling or texting the station or by holding their own events in work and at home.
The Radiothon highlighted both moving and poignant stories from ill children all over the country. During the broadcast, parents and staff at the hospitals also shared their tales of joy and woe with the general public.
Have a listen to a piece from that weekend.
