Arsenal bridged a gap of over 30 years last night – a 5-0 win at home to Porto means they finally overturned a first leg deficit to book their place in the next stage of the Champions League. Niklas Bendtner struck a hat trick, Nasri and Eboue with the others as Porto bow out 6-2 on aggregate.
Bayern Munich are also through to the quarters – they lost 3-2 at Fiorentina last night but with the aggregate score 4-4 Bayern advance on away goals.
Man United take a 3-2 lead into their return leg against AC Milan tonight, Real Madrid have to come from 1-0 down at home to Lyon.
