Dubs Move Top

Pat Gilroy

Pat Gilroy’s Dublin footballers have kept up their flawless league form after battling back to just beat Mayo by 1-9 to 1-8 in Castlebar.

Supersub Bernard Brogan netted in the second half for the Dubs who move top of Division 1 after three wins from three outings.

Elsewhere in Division 1, Kerry were 0-15 to 1-9 winners over Derry in Tralee.

Monaghan beat Tyrone by a single point in Iniskeen – that one finishing 1-14 to 0-16.
