Republic of Ireland defender Richard Dunne looks set to miss out on tonight's international friendly against Poland at Croke Park. The Tallaght man made a late night return to Manchester last night to be with his wife who went into labour. If he does miss out it's thought Paul McShane will take his place at centre back with Wolves man Kevin Foley coming in at right back. Elsewhere Andy Keogh and Caleb Folan are so far the only changes to the eleven.
Elsewhere of interest to Ireland tonight - our World Cup qualifying opponents Italy are in Greece, Bulgaria are off to Serbia, Montenegro host Macedonia, Cyprus entertain Belarus and Georgia - who come to Dublin in February - will go to Romania.
Meanwhile Theo Walcott is out of England's trip to Germany later. The Arsenal striker dislocated his shoulder in training. Scotland have a high profile meeting with Maradona's Argentina at Hampden Park. Celtic midfielder Barry Robson is the latest withdrawal from that game - he's picked up a groin strain.
