The Galway County Board has voted in favour of the county competing in the Leinster Hurling Championship from next year, for a three year trial period. The motion was passed by just 12 votes - 66 in favour to 54 against. The next step in the process takes place at Special Congress in Croke Park on Saturday, where the county will vote in support of the GAA's proposal.
