The Princess Diaries have been published in more than thirty-eight countries - and made into a film, starring Anne Hathaway.

But now the author says she's written the last instalment of the series.

Meg Cabot says because Mia's turning eighteen and leaving school, it's time to finish.

She says there won't be any more movies but there is something she'd like to see happen.
