Veteran Hollywood actor Ryan O'Neal's been arrested for allegedly possessing drugs.

The star, who was nominated for an Oscar for his role in the 1970 movie Love Story, was taken into custody in LA, along with his son Redmond.

Detectives suspect both of them had crystal meth.
