Today, we were in the company of some pretty prestigious silverware by which we mean the Vince Lombardi trophy which ends up in the hands of the Super Bowl champions every year.
The trophy wasn't the only company in studio with Ger as Seattle Seahawks defensive back Earl Thomas and Rob Ryan, winner of two Super Bowl rings as a coach.
The duo are in Dublin for a NFL Live show, presented by Subway, at the Convention Centre on Saturday March 24.
Thomas spoke to Ger about being part of Seattle's fabled Legion of Boom defence and also spoke about maintaining his friendship with Richard Sherman who has since joined San Francisco 49ers this year. He also discussed his own future and whether that will be at the Seahawks long-term.
Ryan, who is the son of former head coach Buddy Ryan and twin brother of another ex-coach in Rex Ryan, spoke about growing up in a football family and also whether he may return as a head coach in the NFL in the near future.
