Saturday & Sunday 6am - 9am Weekend Wakeup with Trina Mara & Movie Gal on 98's Lowdown with Louise Sundays 10-12pm

Back in school over on the Northside, Trina was christened DJ Trini-Bopper after coming up with a great way to get out of class! She told the teachers she was making a radio documentary about what teenagers get up to behind their parents backs and needed to record some friends in a “quiet room” where they wouldn’t be disturbed! In fact, they ended up going on the mitch into Dr.Quirkeys! Her pet hates include people who fart in pubs, Irish people who use American words like “garbage” and “resume” and Pyjama Ma’s – GET DRESSED!

How to look Good Naked - Gok Wan is the man, What Not To Wear but with Trinny & Susannah NOT Lisa and Mischa, X-Factor, Nip/Tuck, Sex and the City...

What do you listen to on your ipod when you’re not working?
I adore music and love going to gigs - listen to lots of music but don’t have an ipod!  Must get one – but I do have a state of the art Fisher Price cassette player. Love Beverly Knight (my karaoke special), The Script,  Snow Patrol, chart stuff - not into weird music mind!!!!

Who is the most famous person you have ever met?
I've met quite a few celebs !  Halle Berry, Uma Thurman, David Schwimmer, Bon Jovi, Adam Sandler, Hilary Swank but the ones who really made me starstuck would have to be M & 50 - 98's Toll Trolls!

Who are your idols? 
Would love to meet Jennifer Aniston & Tom Hanks.  Would also love to meet Michael Jackson to see if he's as odd in the flesh!

Your most embarrassing moment?
Putting my hand out to stop a Dart !  Got a few strange looks

How did you get the job at 98? I hid in a box when they were delivering the furniture and they haven’t copped on yet!
