Depends on how you look at it, really. If my CV is to be trusted I, “…graduated as one of an elite band of journalists – the navy seals of the written and spoken work, if you like – before carving out a niche in print, then radio.” But, to be honest, I just wore tight trousers to most of my interviews.  

Are you married or single?
Single. Well, sort of. Let’s just say we live together, but I don’t let her answer the door.

Do you have any children?
No. I am told, though, that I dress as if I’m expected at a teen-disco any minute, so maybe, just maybe, I’m not quite ready.

How old are you?
The dark side of 30. Just…

What’s your favourite TV show?
Toss up between Family Guy, The West Wing, The Sopranos and Blue Planet.

What do you listen to on your ipod/cd player when you’re not working?
Again, it depends. Curtis Mayfield, Miles Davis, Nina Simone, Lemonjelly, Groove Armada, Jamiroquai – all sorts.

Who is the most famous person you have ever met/your idol?
Most famous person I ever met, as in face to face, was Roberto Baggio. Douglas Adams is my idol, though. Comic genius.

What actor do you admire the most and why?
John Cusack. He’s been in some rubbish films, I know. But when he’s good, he good.

Do you have a pet?
Not any more. He disappeared into thin air, before making it big in the little known Greek porn industry. Canine And Abel was his first movie, I think. True story.

What do you get up to when you hang up your headphones and get home/pastimes?
Seriously, stopping my girlfriend from answering the door takes up far more time than you would imagine. I’m constantly alert. So, that’s about it…  

Your most embarrassing moment?
The time she got there first. Let’s never speak of it again…

What dish do you like? Do you cook?
Anything involving chilies or Tabasco sauce. The hotter, and more painful, the better.

Do you have any bad habits?
Laughing at my own jokes would be one. And telling crap ones would be another.

How did you get the job at 98FM?
I told you. Tight pants…
