Are you married or single?
Neither!
Do you have any children?
I still am one.
How old are you?
26
What’s your favourite TV show?
Don’t watch a whole lot of TV but have stuck with Home and Away through the years! Pure escapism.
What do you listen to on your ipod/cd player when you’re not working?
When I’m not listening to 98!! A mixture of U2 (old and new stuff), Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Stereophonics, Jason Mraz, Christina Aguilera, bit of Tom Baxter.
Who is the most famous person you have ever met/your idol?
Met Tom Baxter who was lovely. Keith Barry also “did” me recently…card trick that is. I’m kind of afraid to meet anyone I admire too much – don’t want to be disappointed.
What actor do you admire the most and why?
Don’t admire any of them. They get paid way too much (bitter).
Do you have a pet?
No, but would love a puppy that walks and cleans itself.
What do you get up to when you hang up your headphones and get home/pastimes?
Love sleeping, shopping, catching up with friends, dressing up and going out for dinner and going to gigs. Wish I loved exercise but don’t do any.
Your most embarrassing moment?
Have you got all day?
Probably every day I went to school.
Once got off a bus and realised I had a pair of knickers stuck to my coat! (had taken a bunch of laundry out of the hotpress that morning).
When one of my so-called colleagues emailed pictures of me doing my Leona Lewis impression on a night out to the entire office. They used to sing ‘Bleeding Love’ at me when I walked the halls!
What dish do you like? Do you cook?
I love all food except marzipan and beetroot - yuk. Can’t live without garlic, cheese, ketchup, mayonnaise (not all at the same time). Enjoy cooking, not sure if others like eating it though! Make a mean chicken and pasta/spag bol/fahitas, and, of course, can dial a pizza like a pro.
Do you have any bad habits?
Loads! I correct people’s grammar and spelling all the time, I’m a clean-freak who doesn’t like cleaning, am lazy (when I’m not in work! See previous), would talk to the wall (probably why I’m working in radio), eat way too much ketchup, have a woeful memory.
How did you get the job at Dublin’s 98?
I snuck into the newsroom at weekends, then worked my way up from there!
