Declan Pierce:

I’ve been working as a DJ since the age of 15! In fact it’s the only job I’ve ever really had apart from one summer when I worked as an aid to Boyzone on a photo shoot… Don’t ask!!! I’ve worked for lots of radio stations including a station called Juice FM in Liverpool where I presented my own breakfast show.

I joined 98 as a presenter and Music Director at the station.

Do you have any children? I’m hardly able to look after myself… so not yet!

How old are you? 29

Girlfriend? Yes... She's a stunner! :o)

What’s your favourite TV show? Being a massive Aston Villa fan I only really watch football on TV, but I’m a Simpson’s addict!

What do you listen to on your ipod/cd player when you’re not working? Favourite bands include The Prodigy and Keane

Who is the most famous person you have ever met/your idol? Paul McGrath. The guy is amazing, actually if you like reading have a read of his book. An amazing story of his battle with alcoholism and his football life. My favourite Aston Villa player ever!

What actor do you admire the most and why? Katherine Heigl, because she’s absolutely stunning.

Do you have a pet? A cat, dog and about 10 tropical fish!

What do you get up to when you hang up your headphones and get home/pastimes? I fancy myself to be a good indoor soccer player, other than that you’ll find me in my local pub in Cabinteely!

Your most embarrassing moment? My trousers ripping in school at lunchtime while playing Rugby! I had to walk through the school in my boxers until I got a lend of some tracksuit bottoms!!! Scarlet!!!

What dish do you like? Do you cook? Crap cook… Toasted cheese and ham sambo is my only skill in the kitchen!

Do you have any bad habits? Singing along to 98 songs in the office!!! I CAN’T SING
