98FM recently raised over half a million euro for sick kids on the Care 4 Kids Radiothon.
The radio station brought the city to a complete standstill with the 98FM Fugitive, one of the most successful promotions ever broadcast in Ireland.
The station gathered 50,000 text signatures in one week in an effort to raise the M50 Toll Barriers in 2005 for the Bury The Toll Campaign. This campaign also gave birth to the hugely popular Toll Trolls on the 98FM Morning Crew.
The Toll Trolls debut CD was the second biggest selling CD in December 2005 beating Eminem and U2 in sales.
We are home to the 98FM Fuel Fairy, a giant winged creature who flaps into petrol stations and gives Dubliners a free fuel fill.
