After only a single season at Manchester United, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is unlikely to be offered a new contract and his contract will become clearer once the Premier League's retained list is released later today.
The 35 year old Swede scored 28 goals for Jose Mourinho's men but his season was ended prematurely due to a knee injury in the Europa League quarter final against Anderlecht.
After winning titles in Sweden, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy and France, Ibrahimovic came to England to add to his domination of the continent and did so, winning the Community Shield, League Cup and the Europa League.
United have remained quiet about Ibrahimovic's future since the end of the campaign, but reports suggest they are in pursuit of Real Madrid man, Alvaro Morata.
The Premier League announces its clubs' retained and released list this afternoon. The list shows who is being let go at the end of their contract on June 30, although situations can still change.
Zlatan will be 36 by the time he next plays, with the serious knee injury expected to keep the striker out until early 2018, so it is doubtful that the big Swede will remain in Manchester much longer.
