Gardai are waiting on toxicology tests on the body of a woman found on the grounds of a city church.
The area is used by people who are homeless but detectives believe she may not have been sleeping rough.
Detectives were alerted to the discovery at St Michan's Church at around 6am on Saturday.
The grounds of the Anglican church have become a refuge for people who are homeless, but officers are investigating the possibility the woman wasn't sleeping rough.
According to the Irish Times, they're looking into whether she was originally from Malahide.
Foul play is not suspected but Gardai are waiting on toxicology tests, which should reveal if substances were in her system that may may have led to her death.
