Get the gang together because there's plenty happening around the city to ring in 2018 in style. Here's what's going on in Dublin this New Year's Eve.

Liffey Lights Midnight Moment, River Liffey

This brand new family-friendly event will see colourful aerial and aquatic acrobats take to the streets, the sky and of course, the River Liffey. Expect  jaw-dropping performances, breathtaking stunts and a dazzling symphony of lights as up to 100 aquabeams dance across the sky. The midnight countdown event kicks off at 11:30pm but there's also a matinee show at 6:30pm. 

3 Countdown Concert, Custom House Quay

This year's countdown gig takes place against the backdrop of Custom House Quay and boasts a massive lineup with Kodaline, Hudson Taylor and Keywest all on hand to ring in 2018 with the crowd. Doors open from 8pm and tickets are still available from Ticketmaster

New Years Eve Masquerade Party, McGowan's of Phibsborough

McGowan's in Phibsborough is well established as a great party venue and this New Year's Eve, they are going all out with a glamorous masquerade event. You can bring your own mask or get your own one inside but with a late bar and DJ on hand, it's set to be a night to remember. You can get early bird tickets here.

A Hip-Hop & RnB Night, Turk's Head in Temple Bar

If you're a hip-hop and RnB fan, then you'll want to get down to Turk's Head in Temple Bar. They're promising all the classic from the 90s, 00s and new all night long to keep you dancing right into 2018. Tickets are from €10 and you can get your hands on some here.

A Very Deece NYE, District 8

District 8 is a sure bet for a good party and this New Year's Eve, they have six hours of DJ Deece, confetti cannons, extra lighting production and a baloon drop. Doors open from 9pm on the night and tickets are between €13 and €21.
