Dublin’s Under 21s footballers are “quietly confident” that they can win the All-Ireland this year- so says co-captain Cillian O’Shea.
The Boys in Blue claimed a record fourth Eirgrid Leinster title in-a-row during the week, as they beat Offaly in Portlaoise.
Dessie Farrell’s boys still don’t know who they will face in the All-Ireland semi final, which is due to be played later this month.
They will face the Ulster champions- however the Ulster semi finals are yet to be played, after poor weather forced their abandonment during the week.
The Under 21s fell at the semi final hurdle last year, going down to eventual champions Mayo.
So O’Shea insists Dublin aren’t counting their chickens just yet- as he told 98FM’s Jamie Moore on Now That’s What I Call Sport this morning:
