The Home Sweet Home group has cancelled a vigil in memory of a rough sleeper who died last week.
It's after it emerged Jack Watson had been deported from Australia after a series of serious offences.
The 51 year old's Australian visa was cancelled in October 2015 and had been on the sex offenders register.
He had a string convictions including being found guilty of the sexual assault of two underage girls in the state of Victoria in 2008.
He was one of three homeless people to die in Ireland last week.
Campaigners with Home Sweet Home say they've cancelled a vigil due to be held outside Apollo House tomorrow, out of respect for his victims.
However members say it doesn't change the fact that many people have died because of our housing emergency.
