Pfizer has denied fumes from a Viagra factory in Cork are having an arousing effect on locals.
The pharmaceutical giant makes the little blue pills in Ringaskiddy, and there have long been suggestions that locals are having a hard time with fumes from the factory.
As a local bar-woman put it, "One whiff and you’re stiff".
Speaking to the Sunday Times at the weekend, another woman claimed “Even the dogs here have been known to walk around in a state of sexual excitement".
In a statement, a Pfizer spokesperson said the rumors of “Viagra in the air”, is just an “amusing” myth and that they're manufacturing processes have always been "highly sophisticated as well as highly regulated".
