A controversial flag erected on the Ha'penny Bridge to support The Dubs has been put into permanent storage.
The well known Up the Dubs banner that's attached to both sides of the Ha'penny bridge was first erected after the Dubs won the All Ireland in 2011.
It's been put up every time the Boys and Girls in Blue play a final and is taken down the next day.
However earlier this year it overstayed its welcome by a week prompting a slew of complaints.
Now it's been revealed it actually breaches planning laws on the grounds it detracts from the character of the bridge - and it's been retired for good.
The city council says there are no plans to re use it on any other bridge.
