A teenager has been arrested after a brick was thrown through the window of one of Dublin's best known gaybars.
The attack happened on the eve of the Pride Festival which is taking place in the city today.
A rock with homophobic language was fired into Pantibar on Capel Street at around 11 o' clock last night.
Tape was attached to the brick, containing the message:
“Píteoga amach as Eireann”
Gardai arrested a boy in his late teens shortly after the incident and he was taken to Store street Gardai station.
He has since been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
No one was injured.
