Dublin has been paired with the Spanish city of Bilbao in hosting for the Euro 2020 Championship. Twelve cities in total will host matches for the 2020 finals with three group E matches to be staged at the Aviva Stadium as well as a last-16 tie.

Every host nation that qualifies will play a minimum of two home matches which means that if the Republic of Ireland and Spain qualify, the two time European champs will join the Boys in Green in the same group.

Brussels was stripped of its hosting rights as the new stadium in the Belgian capital won't be finished in time. Wembley in London has been handed an extra three group games and a last-16 tie that were due to be played in Brussels.

The opening match of the tournament will be played at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

The draw to pair the host cities in full:

Group A: Rome and Baku

Group B: Amsterdam and Bucharest

Group C: Saint Petersburg and Copenhagen

Group D: London and Glasgow

Group E: Bilbao and Dublin

Group F: Munich and Budapest
