A disappointing back 9 at the BMW PGA Championship yesterday saw Shane Lowry finish in a tie for sixth place.
The Offaly man had a share of the lead heading into the back 9, but fell away, as Alex Noren claimed the title.
Noren’s stunning final round of 62 saw him end on 11 under par, two shots clear of the field.
Lowry's sixth place finish sees him climb seven places in the latest golf world rankings, up to 69th.
