Russia Has Just Banned This Image Of Vladimir Putin
The Department of Justice in Russia has banned this image of the country's President in full makeup.
The photoshopped picture of Vladimir Putin in drag became popular after Russia passed a law banning gay “propaganda” in 2013.
The picture has now been included in a list of 4,074 banned “extremist” materials. The Department of Justice says the poster implies “the supposed nonstandard sexual orientation of the president of the Russian Federation”.
The Kremlin press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, told the state-run news service Tass that Putin is “quite resilient to these vulgarities”.
