Over 40,000 people descended on the capital for this year's New Year's Festival.
The event took place over two days on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
Three countdown events took place on New Year's Eve followed by the 3 Countdown Concert on Custom House Quay where Keywest, Hudson Taylor and Kodaline performed.
Two Midnight Moment events took place on the River Liffey giving Dubliners the chance to watch lighting displays and acrobats perform aerial and aquatic stunts against the backdrop of the Custom House.
Today, New Year's Day, thousands of families and visitors returned to Custom House Quay for the New Year’s Day Celebration which featured entertainment from The Garda Band, Hit Machine Drummers, Moxie and The Line Up.
