No Dublin Bus services will be running on Thursday.The company said that, due to the latest forecast, it "will not be in a position to operate any services tomorrow, Thursday 29 February."
The last services will depart at 7pm Wednesday evening.
Dublin Bus has apologised "for the inconvenience caused", but explained that the decision "has been made in the interest of the safety of customers and our employees."
For the rest of Wednesday, Dublin Bus customers should be aware that services may also experience delays.
The company says it is monitoring weather and road conditions closely and will keep customers updated.
Irish Rail says all services will "wind down" from 12pm tomorrow, before completely stopping by 2pm.
The company says it will update passengers after 12pm Friday as soon as possible.
There will be no LUAS services from 2pm on Thursday. Trams will run a very limited service in the morning, before beginning to wind down from midday.
Bus Eireann says there will be no services in Leinster or Munster tomorrow.
