A 24 year old man has died in Beaumont hospital following a crash on Adelaide Road. Four pedestrians were hit by a silver convertible Saab on August 22nd.
The car flipped at the junction of Earslfort Terrace at 6.15pm. The female driver and one pedestrian were taken to St. Vincent’s hospital, while another pedestrian was taken to Tallaght hospital.
Two more pedestrians were rushed to St. James hospital, before one of them was transferred to Beaumont hospital, where he died from serious head injuries today.
Five ambulances and four fire engines attended the scene on Adelaide Road.
Investigating Gardaí want to speak with anyone who saw what happened, and have asked them to contact their local garda station or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
They are also appealing to drivers with dash cam footage to send it to Pearse St Garda Station.
