Today is Bring Your Dog to Work Day. It has been proven that they can reduce stress and help boost staff morale.
Dogs Trust Ireland is encouraging companies to become more dog friendly, and is offering a limited number of treats to workplaces that are getting involved.
Spokesperson Sarah Lynch said "studies have shown that it does increase employees perception of the workplace", but she does warn that "employees are encouraged to get up and bring their dogs out for toilet breaks".
Here are some of the pooches that have been enjoying their Friday at their desk.
