House prices in Ireland are rising by an average of €50 a day.
The latest report from Daft.ie shows that the price of the average home in Ireland is now nearly €241,000 - 8.9% higher than it was this time last year.
The average price of a home in the city is 50% higher than that and will set you back about €363,800.
South Dublin County, South Dublin City and North Dublin City make up the top three most expensive places to buy in the entire country. The price of an average house in South County Dublin now stands at €559,000.
Dublin house prices are 61% higher than they were at their lowest point and the cost of a home here is also increasing higher than the rest of the country. The annual price inflation in Dublin in the year to September was 9.9%, compared to 8.2% for the rest of the country.
Almost half (48%) of Dublin properties find a buyer within just two months
