The official government figures show that's a 4 percent rise in homelessness since October.
Meanwhile the latest report from the Residential Tenancies Board show we've reached a new record high for rents.
The average cost of a home in Dublin now stands at €1,518. That's 7% more than at the height of the boom.
Costs are up just under 10% on last year alone. That's despite new laws which prevent landlords from increasing rents any higher than 4% in pressure zones like Dublin.
