The Frascati Shopping Centre will open a new multi-storey car park in time for Christmas shoppers.
The first phase of the extension and refurbishment of the centre should be finished next month, with the new 550 space car park opening by the end of November.
€30m is being spent on doubling the size of the centre to 170,000 square feet, with spaces for 21 new shops and eight places to eat and drink in a dedicated restaurant hub that looks out over Dublin Bay.
Anchor tenants include Debenhams, Marks & Spencer and ALDI, which is "very exciting" for the people of Blackrock and surrounding areas, according to Louise Donnelly of Cushman & Wakefield.
Johnny O Connor of CBRE believes the new units "are an excellent opportunity to capitalise on the active food and beverage market and will provide and interesting new offering to the area".
