Four men are due in court later in connection with gangland crime in Dublin.
They were arrested earlier this week following an operation in the North Inner City.
A gun and a silencer were also seized on Monday night when officers stopped and searched a car they had been monitoring.
Detectives investigating the activities of organised gangs moved in on the men just after 8pm on November 6th.
Two of them were picked up in Fairview where a gun and a silencer were also recovered. The other two were arrested around the same time in the south inner city.
The four men aged in their 20s and 30s were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and will appear before Dublin District Court later this morning.
