If you have a empty house, you could be able to rent it out to rough sleepers.
A new scheme being introduced will see homeowners being given a grant to do up their vacant homes.
The €140 million Repair and Leasing scheme will allow councils to enter into long-term leases with owners of empty homes.
Owners whose homes are too run-down to rent will be able to use the grant to refurbish their properties. They'll then be rented out to homeless people across the city.
The Irish Times report that €32 million has been allocated to the scheme - with a target of bringing 800 homes into use by the end of this year.
Property owners can avail of a grant of up to €40,000 to bring their vacant homes up to scratch. In return, they must sign a minimum ten year lease with local authorities.
