Dubliners Faring Among The Best In Driving Test Wait Times
Dubliners are faring the best when it comes to waiting times for driving tests.
New figures from the RSA found some drivers are waiting as long as 25 weeks to take their test in other parts of the country.
People taking their driving test in Dublin have four centres to choose from.
On the southside drivers can choose between an average of a 9 week wait in Churchtown or a 10 week wait in Tallaght.
If you're taking your test on the north of the city, there's a 12 week wait in Finglas and nearly a 13 week wait in Raheny.
However these waiting times are small in comparison to some in rural Ireland.
It takes an average of 19 weeks in Buncrana while in Gorey the wait time is around 18 and a half week.
These figures are despite the Road Safety Authority aiming to have everyone tested within 10 weeks.
