A doctor who set up a field hospital for drunk teenagers at an underage disco has described the scene as a 'Roman Vomitorium'.
Three young people were rushed to hospital, while around a dozen were treated at the scene for extreme intoxication.
Dr Jason Van Der Veld describes what he walked into at what was supposed to be a non-alcoholic event at a rugby club in Cork.
"It was like walking into a Roman Vomitorium", he said.
"There were teenagers strewn across the club changing room in extreme states of intoxication, vomiting into buckets".
The majority of those involved were intoxicated before they arrived to the non-alcoholic event at Bandon Rugby Club.
